About Florencia...

One of my earliest memories was watching Julia Child on PBS creating wonderful and exotic culinary masterpieces. I was always drawn to express myself through cooking and entertaining. My mother realized it was my calling when at the age of 6 I was giving her tips and shortcuts in the kitchen. In addition to the love to cooking, I was pretty gifted in my ability.

As I became older, I continued to improve my technique and overall quality. Through my travels around Europe, South America, The Caribbean and the United States I became familiar and began to utilize many regional styles. Although I love to cook a variety of food, my downfall is dessert. The draw of desserts is the special attention every aspect of the preparation receives, not everyone can accomplish the desired end result. That, the happiness apparent on people's faces when they eat these delicacies and the love I have for anything containing sugar were the reasons I attended Johnson & Wales University to pursue a career in the food industry.

After graduating with my Associate's Degree in Pastry Arts I continued to study Marketing which resulted in a Bachelor's Degree in Food Marketing. I moved to New Jersey for 2 years where I was a Marketing Director and an On-Site Supervisor (HR). I finally found my way back home to Mansfield and, at 24 years of age, was presented with an opportunity of a lifetime. I now am able to invite you to become a part of my dream come true --
